SP02 - Liverpool Capital of Culture: A Year in the Life
Lauren Laverne and the Culture Show team are in Liverpool to look back at the city's year as European Capital of Culture. Highlights include Simon Rattle on his return to his home city with the Berlin Philharmonic and Paul McCartney's homecoming concert at Anfield in June. There is also coverage of what for many was the event of the year - the gigantic robot spider. On a more local scale, the programme looks at the projects that aimed to get communities involved in the year's events.
